HERE @ THE WELL

In an environment of love, acceptance & forgiveness, we gather together @ The Well every Sunday @ 10am to experience the power & presence of God. Through Spirit-led worship, anointed teaching, fellowship, prayer, healing & fun, people of all ages come to know God and each other better, and are set free from the chains that bind us.   • In order to fulfill God’s mission for us here @ The Well, we offer the following areas of opportunity to connect & serve: 

    Family Care: Loving & caring for our own church family.

    Kids: Ministering to the kids in our community (up through 6th grade).

    Youth: Ministering to the youth in our community (7th grade - college-aged).

    Worship: Seeking the presence of God through Spirit-led worship. 

    Prayer: Using Jesus’ authority to intercede for ourselves and others. 

    Community Care: Loving & caring for our community & world.

    Administration: Includes all aspects of church operations.

    Communication: All the ways we use to get the word out.

    Discipleship: All groups & programs used for discipleship purposes.

  • Since 2017 our church has carried the name “Solid Life Center.” Before that time it was known as “His Church,” and many people still refer to it as such. However, with new leadership, new vision, and a fresh passion for serving God & our community, we have officially changed the name of the church to “The Well”. Just as the woman at the well received living water from Jesus that would cause her to never be thirsty again, we get to do the same thing. We get to be purveyors of this same living water for our community. Our prayer is that we would be a people and a place where others can come and drink freely from the well that never runs dry.  

    A Little Bit About Pastor Mark: Hi, my name’s Mark Mickel and I’ve been married to my awesome wife Kellie (aka “Beautiful”) since June, 1991. We have 5 grown children (4 sons and a daughter who we adopted as a teenager). We’ve also discovered one of God’s greatest creations—grandkids. They are the best! I was previously the Senior Pastor at Life: A Foursquare Church in Burns, Oregon, where Kellie worked with at-risk kids and families through the school district. Currently I’m the Senior Pastor here at The Well in Forest Grove, and Kellie and I have absolutely fallen in love with the people and the community. As a church family, The Well is very outreach oriented and we are always seeking God’s heart for new ways to reach those in our area who are falling through the cracks. We’d love for you to consider coming and joining our family.
